Therefore, in the upcoming presidential election, we need to choose a president who truly upholds religion and holds fast to religion. Do not choose a president who only uses religion as a political tool to gain power without ever wanting to study and explore religion. This is because religion is the main foundation in shaping the character and morals of an ideal society. If a leader is not able to maintain religion then the morals of the community are damaged because they are uncivilized or semi-barbarian and the loss of the nation’s dignity. And in turn the State will also be destroyed because of what if the prevailing order in society is not in accordance with the rules of Religion or even contradictions occur between each other. Fifth, Gaugana Hasta has the meaning that a leader must develop artliterature, sound arts, dance and others to fill the nation’s civilization. Like religion, art can also build national civilization. If a leader does not pay attention to the arts, then over time the arts will be destroyed because they do not develop, and that means the nation’s civilization has also been slowly destroyed – land. Therefore, in the upcoming presidential election, the ideal president is a president who loves art and is able to develop art because art is a form of national civilization.
Moreover, art can also become an icon of national identity as well as a means of introducing the Indonesian state to the international arena.
